Car Hire Terms & Conditions

DRIVER'S LICENCE
The hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a full and valid driving licence for a minimum
of 2 years up to and including the time of hire and that licence must bear no current endorsements
during the last two years. A driving licence from the country of residence or an International
Driver's Permit is generally acceptable, provided valid as above.

DRIVER
The hirer and/or authorized driver must be over 23 years of age. The hirer and/or authorized driver must also be in possession of a proper means of identification other than a driver's licence.

DEPOSIT
Full payment of the period of hire is to be made when taking over the car in addition to a deposit of a valid credit card details for security reasons. If not possessing a valid credit card, a cash security deposit has to be left which is fully returnable, when car is returned damage and loss free - Cheques cannot be accepted.

INSURANCE
In addition to compulsory third party insurance, collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft cover are provided.
Personal accident insurance is not included. Insurance cover is subject to an excess and your maximum liability is indicated below. Here is the price for optional waiver of the excess:

Group A / B / C / D - excess 800 Euros you pay 6 Euros / day
Group E / F/ G - excess 950 Euros you pay 7 Euros / day
Group I / G1 / H - excess 1250 Euros you pay 8 Euros / day
Group H1 / I / I1 / J / L - excess 1500 Euros you pay 10 Euros / day

Super CDW - Excess plus 4 Euros / day



CAR HIRE AGREEMENT
Self drive cars are hired subject to the company's standard form of agreement notwithstanding the above conditions the company reserves the right to refuse a hirer at any time without assigning any reason.

SECURITY
The vehicles must be locked when unattended. Report any accidents by providing all the details on the Algarvecaronline accident-report-form forthwith and confirm those details with a police report. Only have the car towed or repaired with the permission of the Company

It’s important that you read the relevant Booking Terms and Conditions before you book any Car Hire, holiday or other product or service. The act of booking signifies that you are aware of and accept these conditions.

Note: These terms & conditions may change at any time without prior notice, like we can cancel or not accepted Your booking in 24hours advance of your arrival in Portugal.
