On Rua do Comércio in Olhão, there is a stream of small shops, many of them with tables at the entrance. On the bank at the mouth of the estuary, you can buy raw and ready-cooked shellfish.
Situated in the heart of the Algarve, Loulé is also an important commercial centre which has kept its service personal. Next to the castle walls, you can get copper, leatherwork, and objects made from palm leaves in artisanal workshops.
