Last year’s Fair brought in over 11,000 visitors over the weekend. Why?
Because the Fair is great fun for all the family and it’s unique in the Algarve.

The FATACIL Showground was built to be spacious, green and superbly laid out over several hectares. The gangways are wide, you never feel crowded, with plenty of space to wander, sit in the sun on the grass, benches or in one of the many restaurants and bars, enjoy a meal, be entertained and amused .

Last May visitors spent an average of 3-4 hours at the Fair, which must say a lot about how much there is to see and do. Parents, your children are well catered for - we know that if you are going to enjoy your visit, you need to know that your children are having fun as well. One parent told us last year that he brought his daughter in at 12:00 for a quick look round, but the next time he looked at his watch it was after 17:00!  There is an entry fee of €3 for adults only, and over 81% of visitors surveyed last year said they considered this was good value for money.

Whatever you are looking for, we are sure you will find it at one of the many stands, shows, handicrafts tent, wine show or in the Pavilion. Many exhibitors this year are offering extra value for money and special discounts during the Fair.

The place to eat, snack, drink and be entertained throughout the day

The main restaurants and entertainment are to be found in the ARENA, where there are 11 restaurants offering a wide variety of dishes and meals, everything from traditional English pies, pizza, traditional Portuguese food including piripiri chicken, a salad bar, health food, an authentic hog roast, tapas, Indian curries, plus of course, a plentiful supply of cold beer, soft drinks and ie cream. Prices are all reasonable and the quality and choice of dishes on offer are of a high standard. The main stage is in the ARENA, so take a seat at one of the restaurants, sit back and enjoy the entertainment before you.

The ARENA also features an area for the children with traditional games, bouncy castle, displays by the Lagoa Firemen, and all within a clear view of the many restaurants. So let the kids enjoy themselves while you keep an eye on them from your restaurant of choice.
